Dr caroline Babasola Obasoro is a highly qualified and experienced counsellor with a strong research background. She has over 30 years of experience in the field of education, and has worked as a teacher, counsellor, and lecturer.

In addition to this Babasola Obasoro was also the pioneer ag. director of counselling & human development centre (CHDC) Adeyemi college of education, Ondo now Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo, Ondo state, Nigeria between 2014 and 2018. She is a passionate advocate for the well-being of children and young people. she is committed to providing quality counselling services to those who need it most. Dr caroline Babasola Obasoro is also a strong advocate for research in the field of counselling, and is committed to disseminating her findings to the wider community.

Her professional career has seen her got an unprecedented collaboration with Dr Carolyn Gentle- genitty of the school of social work, Indiana university Purdue university, Indianapolis (IUPUI), USA. This collaboration led into a platform where she has been training counsellors in Nigeria to become professional counsellors with a certificate issued by IUPUI, USA since 2018 to date.
As part of her professional certification in the recent times, she has the following
– Certificates, such as; certificate in professional training for counsellors (IUPUI) USA (2018),
– Certificate in interpersonal violence prevention (IUPUI) USA (2019),
– Certificate in major depressive disorder (IUPUI), USA (2019),
– Certificate in leaders of learning (Harvard university), USA (2020). recently too in her trip to the USA, she was able to finish the training from the Institute of mental health education and relationship strategies as a mental health therapist in collaboration with Dr Larrier Yvonne, Indiana University, South Bend, USA.2023. She is now a mental health champion.

She is the chief executive officer of Caroland Psychological Therapy and Consultancy Services. Dr Obasoro is a widow of more than 30 years with promising children and grandchildren. She has been of help to a lot of widows by providing Succour to them.
